BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL . Limited spaces so always book in advance from Wednesday to Friday. To book please contact Rowena Castillo- Nicholls via email: connectwithnature2009@yahoo.com\nRowena brings tea and biscuits. You are welcome to join us after the event for a cuppa or just to have a chat. Please bring your own mug/ cup.\nPlease check our website and social media prior to the event in case of cancellation due to weather conditions or change of date and time. Please wear suitable clothing and shoes. Bring binoculars; pen and paper to list the wildlife you see; something to sit on (optional) and sunscreen / sunblock in the summer.\nTo reach Towan Headland (postcode TR7 1HN) in Newquay , you can follow these driving or walking directions.\nDriving  Directions:\n\nMain Route: Take the A3058 or A392 into Newquay town centre .\nTown Approach : Follow signs for the Harbour or Fistral Beach . From the town centre, take Tower Road and continue until you reach Headlands Road.\nFinal Destination : Headland Road leads directly to the headland, passing the Headland Hotel on your left.\nParking : There is a dedicated Cornwall Council car park at Towan Headland (TR7 1 HN)\n\nWalking Directions:\n\nFrom Towan Beach: Walk past Blue Reef Aquarium and the harbour. Follow the coastal path markers towards the Huer’s Hut , a white 14th century lookout building.\nFrom Fistral Beach : Head north along the South West Coast Path with the ocean on your left.\nThe path will lead you around the back of the Headland Hotel directly onto the headland.\n\nSome of the Bird’s we’ve seen at Towan Head, Newquay\nPurple Sandpiper, Great Northern Diver, Guillemot, Razorbill, Sandwich Tern, Great Shearwater, Gannets, Kittiwake, Fulmar, Black Redstart , Wheatear, Black- headed Gull, Carrion Crow, Cormorant, Ferral Pigeon, Gannet, Great Black-Backed Gull, Herring Gull, Jackdaw, Little Egret, Magpie, Oystercatcher, Rock Pipit, Shag, Starling , Stonechat, Turnstone, Whimbrel and a lot more….\n
