The 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 30th May 2026 at 5pm in St Erme Community Centre, Trispen, TR4 9BD.

The meeting will include a roundup of our achievements from the past 12 months and what we have planned for the future. You can have your say about Cornwall Birds- what we are doing well, what you’d like to see more of and how we can help you get more from your birding.

The Community Centre has a bar and following refreshments there will be a short virtual presentation by Hannah Broad. Hannah is the 2025 winner of the Vic Simpson Award for her research into Jackdaw behaviour. This award is given annually to a university student who has carried out research in Cornwall.

The main presentation this year is by ‘The Lone Kayaker’, Rupert Kirkwood. Rupert is well known for his long distance kayaking travel offshore as well as navigating local rivers. His superb photography from the low viewpoint of a kayak has earned him several Photo of the Week accolades. We look forward to hearing more about his travels.
