Late News 10/5 Sennen Cove: Juv Iceland Gull on Cowloe.

Late News 10/5 Gwennap Head to Penzance: Several flocks of up to 10 Manx Shearwaters heading W along the Cornish coastline c30 in total, also similar numbers of Gannets heading W plus 1 distant skua sp. In Mounts Bay, 1 Great Northern Diver and 5+ Bottlenose Dolphins. All sightings were from the Scillonian III. (R Hurrell)

Late News 10/5 Penzance, Battery Rocks: 3 Purple Sandpipers, 17 Turnstones (incl several males going into breeding plumage) and 1 Swift overhead. (R Hurrell)
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 9 Grey Heron, 1 Little egret, 6 Mute Swan, 4 Canada Geese (plus 4 goslings), 3 Greylag, 1 hybrid geese, 3 Mallard, 1 drake Shoveler, 2Coot, 8 Moorhen (plus 2 young), 2 Whimbrel, 30+ Swift, c50 Swallow, c30 Sand Martin, 15+ House Marin, Chiffchaffs, Reed Warblers, Sedge Warblers, 3 Cetti’s Warbler, 1 singing m and 2 f Linnets. Marazion: Male & female Kentish Plover still on the beach west of the Station House by the old lifeguard hut at 08:30 but still being disturbed by dog walkers, also 9 Sanderling, 6 Dunlin, 2 Turnstone, 5 Ringed Plover, 30+ Whimbrel, 3 Oystercatcher and 1 White Wagtail. Sennen Cove: 1 Peregrine. (C Barnard) Juv Iceland Gull again on Cowloe this afternoon.

St Gothian Sands: Possible Yellow-legged Gull on island with Herring Gulls and Great Black Backed Gulls. 2 Mute Swans on nest with 5 young. (D King)

Mount Edgcumbe: Nice male Garganey on Barn Pool, Mount Edgcumbe Country Park this evening. (B Taggart)
Rumps Point: 1 Quail unintentionally flushed from the coastal path, 8+ Wheatear, 7 Whitethroat, 300+ Kittiwake feeding off the Point, 1 Great Skua, 1 1s Med Gull, Razorbill, Guillemot, Shag, Cormorant, Fulmar, Gannet and immature Kittiwake. (C Selway)

Windmill Farm:2 Cuckoo, 8 singing Blackcaps, 2 Swift and a House Martin. (D Wright)
Boscoppa: 12 Swifts above Boscoppa this evening. (A Tonry)
Men-an-Tol: 2 Cuckoos singing at each other, a Tree Pipit, many Whitethroats, 2 Willow Warblers and a possible Garden Warbler. (S Cox)
