River Gannel, upper reaches: 4+ Buzzard, 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 Red Kite, 1 Little Egret, 1 Swallow, 3 Blackcap, 2 Long-tailed Tit, 4 Great Tit, 4 Chiffchaff, 5 Blue Tit, 4 Chaffinch, 1 Dunnock and a few Rook, Jackdaw, Magpie, Carrion crow and of course quite a few Herring Gull. (D Mays)

Pendennis Point: 4 Linnet, 6 Wheatear (2m 4f), 1 Swallow around the castle, 2 Bullfinch, Blackcaps and Chiffchaff singing, 2 Peregrine (mf), 4 Oystercatcher and 1 Rock Pipit with nesting material. St Ives, Buttermilk Hill: 18 Wheatear (12 males 6 females). Trevalgan Hill: 9 Wheatear (4 males and 5 females) and 1 Swallow. Zennor Hill: 1 Sand Martin and 42 Swallows a continual Westerly passage throughout the late afternoon and early evening over the moors. (V Stratton)
