Late news, 08/10, Penzance: 1 Little Egret and 1 Grey Heron off Promenade. (D Mallinson)
Blackpool Clay Pit:  400+Redwings going west to east 9:30-10:30, 4 Fieldfare, 1 Peregrine, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk and 1 Wheatear. (N Climpson)
Inglewidden, Cadgwith: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler. (S Croft)
Chun Downs: 1 Hen Harrier (ringtail), 70 Golden Plover, 3 Wheatear and 13 Fieldfare. (I Webster)
Zennor: 1 Turtle Dove perched on roof near barn, plus 1 White Wagtail. (D Jenkins)
Levant: 1 Wheatear, 1 male Merlin, 2 Peregrine, 2 Kestrel, 2 Sparrowhawk and  c100 Linnet.  Hundreds of Gannets feeding offshore over the sand- bank, a passage of hundreds of auks, and a very late basking shark close in under Roscommon cliff. (R Phillips)
Hayle Estuary RSPB, Carnsew Basin: 2 Brent Geese, 6 Bar-tailed Godwit, 11 Oystercatcher and 1 Wheatear, (Brent Geese later flew out onto the estuary). (J St Ledger) Ryan’s Field: 5 Ruff. (R Farnes) 1 Black-winged Stilt and 1 Osprey also reported again today.

Porthgwarra: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, lower end of 60-foot cover from stone bridge and 1 Firecrest. (P & H Taylor)
Sancreed: 30 Redwing. (D Flumm)
St Levan to Roskestal: quite a few Redwings and Fieldfares. (A Hartley) 3 Blackcap and 3 Chiffchaff. (P Fraser, D & M Walbridge) 1 Yellow-browed Warbler by turning circle and 1 Lapland Bunting in field by car park also reported. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)
Porthcurno: 6 Redwing and 3 Chiffchaff. (P Fraser, D & M Walbridge)
Cot Valley: 1 ringtail Hen Harrier, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 2 Chiffchaff and 1 Firecrest.  (P Fraser, D & M Walbridge)
Nanquidno: possible Hen Harrier seen very briefly, 1 Firecrest, 4 Siskin and 1 Golden Plover (heard only). (A Hartley)
Indian Queens, Screech Owl Sanctuary: 40+ Redwing over. (M Whittaker)
Buttermilk Hill: 2 Wheatears, 60+ Meadow Pipit, 7 Common Buzzard, 2 Kestrel, 1 male Sparrowhawk and flock of 58 Fieldfare. (V Stratton)
Trevail Valley: 5 Blackcap, 1 Garden Warbler and flock of 27 Redwing. (V Stratton)
Rame Head: 1 ringtail Hen Harrier.
Falmouth, Swanpool Point: 2 Ringed Plover, 2 Turnstone and 9 Oystercatcher. Castle Beach: 10 Oystercatcher and 1 Curlew. Pendennis: 1 Whimbrel, 2 Meadow Pipit and Gannets at sea. Gorrangorras: c50 Curlew, c35 Redshank, 2 Snipe, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Greenshank, 1 Whimbrel (almost certainly a different individual to above), 1 Oystercatcher and 12 Pied Wagtail. (D Chaney)
