Late news 10/9 Looe Island: 1 Bar tailed Godwit, 2 Raven, a colour ringed Greater Black-backed Gull ringed as a pullus in Crevichon, Guernsey (yellow O.AA6), 3 Grey seals and a Hummingbird Hawkmoth. (R Hurrell)
Late news 10/9 Hannafore area: 5 White Wagtail, 15 Turnstones and 1 Razorbill. One trawler came in with huge seabird flock wheeling behind it including 1 Balearic Shearwater, approx 100 Gannet and a few hundred gulls. (R Hurrell)
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 2 Mute Swan 11 Mallard, 4 Teal, 1 Cormorant, 2 Little Grebe, 9 Grey Heron, 8 Little Egret, 29 Moorhen, 2 Water Rail, 1+ Kingfisher, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, 1 Wheatear, 2 Grey Wagtail, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Cetti’s Warbler plus Reed and Sedge Warblers.
