Towan Head, Newqauy:   8 Purple Sandpipers behind Headland Hotel 12 Turnstones on car park. (M Lammas)

Porthgwarra 08:00 – 11:00: 26 Manx Shearwater, 1 Red-throated Diver, 2 Med Gull, c2500 Kittiwake to 08:30 but only a further c500 by 11:00, c300 Fulmar, steady stream of auks throughout, c90% appeared to be Guillemot. (DK Parker)

Penzance: 3 Black Swan in main harbour. (DK Parker)

East Looe: 1 Great Northern Diver, 7 Eider (including 4 adult males). (D Spooner)

Newlyn: 2cy Iceland Gull, 2cy Black Guillemot and 2 Great Northern Diver still in the harbour. (M Coller)

Upper Tamar Lake: 4 Ring-necked Duck 3m 1f. (R Mudge)

Lower Tamar Lake: 5 Great Crested Grebe. (R Mudge)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1w Great Black-backed Gull with Red ring No. W:300 on Ryan’s Field at 10:10. It was ringed on Skokholm Island on 19th June 2019 and was one of three to fledge the nest. It was last seen on Skokholm on 25th August 2019 and was then reported in Newlyn Harbour on 27th December 2019.(M Webb)

Lizard: Fin Whale stranded (now dead) on rocks at Nare Point. (J Foster)

Porth Reservoir: 8 Great crested Grebe, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Kingfisher, 1 m Tufted Duck, 13 Coot, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Dipper, 2 Mistle Thrush, 2 Song Thrush. (S Grose)

Whipsiderry: 2 Peregrine Falcon, 1 Reed Bunting, 3 Corn Bunting, 5 Raven. (S Grose)
