Walmsley Sanctuary:/ Amble Marshes: Terek Sandpiper, still present at 9pm. For Saturday, parking will be in the farmer’s field (banner on gate) on the right just before the bridge over River Amble from Wadebridge direction. There are sheep in the field so people should close the gate and park up around to the right on the higher ground to avoid getting stuck! There will be a pot for a voluntary collection and we suggest £2 (which will be shared between the CBWPS and the farmer without who’s help it wouldn’t be possible).
Walmsley Sanctuary: (Members only): Terek Sandpiper for it’s second day, 25 Black-tailed Godwit, 19 Dunlin, 7 Ringed Plover, 7 Gadwall, 11 Shelduck and 1 White Wagtail. (J Chapple et al.)
