Late News 12/12/2011 Devoran: The colour-ringed Black-tailed Godwit reported from Devoran on 12/12/2011 was ringed as an adult bird in Siglufjordur, N Iceland. It was still present on 14/1/2012. (J St Ledger & M Grantham)
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Bittern (Longrock Pool), 1+ Little Egret, 6 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 24 Teal, 4 Mallard, 2 Shoveler, 1 Wigeon, 18 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, 3 Little Grebe, 2 Buzzard, 1 Peregrine, 6 Snipe, 42 Curlew over, 2 Med Gull (ad, 2W), 2 Skylark, 3 Stonechat, 2 Chiffchaff and 2 Cetti’s Warbler. Helston: Swallow still at the sewerage works plus 1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 10+ Chiffchaff, 3 Goldcrest, 14 Long-tailed Tit and 2 Grey Wagtail. Also drake aythya hybrid, probably m Pochard x f Tufted Duck, on the boating pool. Swallow also seen over the boating pool. (D Parker & S Bury)

Rumps Point: Large pale grey falcon flying west past the Moul’s at high speed at 14:05 with the resident Peregrines overhead, it did not show again. Also 1 Great Northern Diver and 40+ Razorbill (photo with Eel or Garfish catch). (C Selway)

Sennen Cove: Juv Iceland Gull flew through at 10:50, also a 1W Yellow-legged Gull.
Par: Drake Ring-necked Duck still on Par Beach Pool.
Carnon Downs: 2 Siberian Chiffchaffs at the sewerage works.
Feock: 45 Black-necked Grebes and 3 Great Northern Divers off Loe Beach.
