Late news, 23/4, Goonamarth/Longstone Downs: 1 Red Kite, 1 Cuckoo and two others heard, 2 Grasshopper Warbler, 6+ Willow Warbler, 5 Chiffchaff, 4 Linnet, 2 Stonechat, 1 Wren, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Swallow, 10+ Goldfinch and 2 Greenfinch at home in St Austell. (G Wardle)

Late news, 23/4, Falmouth, Pennance Point: 1830hrs.1 sum plumage Great Northern Diver, 1 Guillemot, 2 Swallow (S Van Hear)

Newlyn: Glaucous Gull again on South Pier at 07:30 and Redshank heard calling. (L Proctor)

Carharrack: Red Kite over low this morning, plus birds seen high up the last two mornings. (F Bell)

Egloshayle: 3 Swifts and 1 Swallow above our  garden this morning. (C Travis)

Truro, Boscolla: 2 Jays watched nestbuilding. Also Wren, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Long-tailed Tit, Magpie all nesting. Blackbird, Song Thrush and Robin already feeding recently fledged young. Also pair of Roe Deer. 1 Dipper, 1 Stock Dove. (D Eva)

Four Lanes, Redruth: 1 Cuckoo calling, 3 Willow Warbler, m and f Stonechat, 2 Sedge Warbler, 10 Linnets, 1 Kestrel. Also 2 Peacock, 1 Small Tortoiseshell, 2 Speckled Wood and 3 Green–veined White butterflies. (R Hooper)

Truro: A pair of Siskin again in a private garden. (D Jenkins)

Penzance: 5 Sandwich Terns, then 4 Whimbrel soon joined by another 11 on Larrigan rocks. All flew off as tide came in.  3 Guillemot close in along Newlyn Green. (R Fox) c30 Whimbrel flew over at 16:10. (M Ahmad)

Marazion: 36 Whimbrel on the beach at 15:55 and another 65 flew over the marsh at 16:30. (S Rogers)

Porthgwarra: Male Ring Ouzel at Trevean Carn this evening. (M Wallace)

Buttermilk Hill: 2 Cuckoos calling all evening on territory, 5 Wheatears, 4 pairs of Stonechat, 7 Meadow Pipits, 5 Linnets 2 Common Buzzards. (V Stratton)
