Late news, 25/4, Plaidy, Looe: 50 Whimbrel on rocks between East Looe beach and Plaidy, then later flock of 200 Whimbrel flying and calling over Plaidy (C&J Duffy)

Tater-du, 14:45-19:30: 1 Sooty Shearwater, 2 Pomarine Skua (pale adults), 4 Great Skua, 4 Puffin, 24 Kittiwake & 6 Whimbrel. (M McKee)

Walmsley Sanctuary: 1 m Garganey, 4 Gadwall, 2 Little Grebe, 1 Coot, 77 Bar-tailed Godwit from the Colonel Rhyves (public) hide.  (S Grose)

Ruan Minor: 1 Iceland Gull in field behind plough picking out worms, possibly the Lizard bird. (F Trewin)

Creegbrawse Chacewater: 2 Tawny Owls heard early a.m. Cuckoo, heard only.( B. Toms)

Porthgwarra: 1651 Manx Shearwater, 14 Fulmar, 1 Whimbrel, 21 Kittiwake, 8 Puffin, 175 auk sp (mostly Guillemot) between 08:30 & 11:00. (DK Parker)

Crowlas: Turtle Dove on wires at Rospeath.

Dobwalls: 4 Siskin (2m, 2f) on feeder, 1 f Yellowhammer, and f Sparrowhawk with prey flew through our garden (C&J Duffy)

St Ives, Barnoon cemetery: 6+ Linnet still, and 1 Goldfinch in amongst the flock. (K Money)

Looe Island: 1 Bar-tailed Godwit (C Lewis)

Whipsiderry: 1 Corn Bunting, 2 Sandwich Tern towards Watergate Bay. (S Grose)

Mousehole: Adult Arctic Skua, 1000+ Manx Shearwater, 7 Sandwich Tern, 4 Great Northern Diver, 4 Puffin and 1 Common Scoter between 06:45 & 10:30. c1900 Manx Shearwater past between 19:00 & 19:45. Also a dog Otter seen to swim from St Clement’s  Isle to Mousehole Harbour. (M Elliott)
