Newquay: 3 Black Swan in the Harbour at 09:30 until attacked by dog and flew into bay. Also 3 Harbour Porpoises from Towan head. (M Lammas)

Rock: 1 Raven, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Mistle Thrush, 5 Greenfinch (all males, calling), 1 Chiffchaff from private gardens. (S Grose)

St Merryn: 13 Yellowhammer, 21 Skylark, 15 Meadow Pipit, 34 Linnet, 2 Corn Bunting, 1 Kestrel, at Persimmion Farm. 145 Kittiwake on Persimmion Cliff and more birds on the water. (S Grose)

Wilcove: Green-winged Teal still also 2 Whimbrel and a Common Sandpiper. (D Julian) Whimbrel flew across and landed on a branch, I’ve not seen this before but apparently they sometimes roost in mangrove trees in N. America. (I McGinnes)
