Late News, 09/07, Scillonian Crossing: Between the Isles of Scilly and Penzance a very extensive bait ball about two miles in length, with 500+ Common Dolphin, 5 Bottlenose Dolphin, 36 Harbour Porpoise, 3 Minke Whale and 2 Fin Whale, all feeding together in a frenzy. Also, Basking Shark and Risso’s Dolphin on the journey. (V Stratton)
