Late news, 17/3, Newquay: Short-eared Owl seen several times during the morning on Newquay golf course. (S Turner)

Coverack: 1 Pallas’s Warbler and 1 Firecrest still at sewage works. (S Reid)

Chapel Amble: 51 Cattle Egret this morning. (D Julian)

Millbrook: 1 Swallow over the lake mid afternoon, whilst 7 Cattle Egret still present at Stone Farm. (A Payne)

Drift Reservoir (members only): 4 Cattle Egret again at Sellan Farm.

Lizard Point: Iceland Gull and 2 Black-throated Diver reported.

Penzance: 3 Sandwich Tern off the station. (M Elliott) Also 1 adult male Black Redstart, 16 Sanderling, 1 Rock Pipit, 8 Cormorant at 12:52. (M Webb)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 5 Water Pipit in the SE corner, also 32 Canada Geese, 2 Shoveler and 1 Coot. (DK Parker)

Camel Estuary: 4 Whooper Swan still present off Burniere Point. (D Julian)

Gerrans Bay: 5 Slavonian Grebe, 2 Black-throated Diver, 6 Great Northern Diver, 1 Long-tailed Duck all close to beach. 45+ Divers – mixture of Black-throated and Great Northern, some in summer plumage though distant. Also one Grey Seal with large Wrasse. (J St Ledger)
