Towan Head (8:30-9:00): hundreds of Manx Shearwater passing per min for 2nd morning running. 1 Storm Petrel, 24 Razorbill (in 2 groups of 12), 1 Guillemot and a few Gannet and Fulmars. 3 Ocean Sunfish (M Lammas)

Gyllingvase Beach, Falmouth: 1 Great Northern Diver in non-breeding plumage off. (S Jackson)

Port Quinn to Port Isaac: 2 Blackcap, 6 Chiffchaff, 3 Whitethroat, 3 Blackbirds, House Sparrows, 3 Goldfinches, 3 Wren, 14 + Linnets, 4 Rock Pipits, 1 Meadow Pipit, 4 Skylark, 1 Wheatear, 8 Stonechats, Crows, Rooks, Jackdaws, 1 Kestrel, 1 Buzzard, 1 Swallow, 4 House Martin (suspected might be nesting under cliff overhang near Varley Head), 1 Oystercatcher, 3 Great Black-backed Gulls, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 160+ Herring Gull (Port Isaac Harbour), 4 Fulmar, 1 Shag, 3 Cormorant, 22+ Auks (probably mostly Guillemots – those flying nearest were Guillemots. Seemed to be breeding on cliffs at Varley Head ), 8 Gannets (2 1st cy). (A Parker)
