Porthgwarra: Icterine Warbler in elms/alders at middle wood, SW368219 (M Wallace) Still showing occasionally but elusive throughout the afternoon and evening. (R Veal, D Parker, P Roseveare). Hayle Estuary RSPB: juv Semipalmated Sandpiper still with c60 Dunlin, c15 Ringed Plover, 1 Turnstone around Carnsew Pool. ad Spotted Redshank on Lelant Saltings. (R Veal et al) Also Brent Goose reported.

Nanjizal: 1 Hoopoe seen briefly. 311 bird ringed including 220 Blackcap, 33 Sedge Warbler, 15 Reed Warbler, 15 Chiffchaff, 7 Robin, 5 Grasshopper Warbler, 3 Willow Warbler, 3 Whitethroat, 2 Garden Warbler, 1 Linnet. 5 Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper, 3+ Siskin overhead. Lynher Estuary (Wacker Quay): 11 pale-bellied Brent Geese, 77 Wigeon, 10 Great crested Grebes and 1 Sandwich Tern this afternoon.

Porthilly Point: 159 Mediterranean Gull, 6 Sandwich Tern on mussel crates at high tide, 95 Oystercatcher, 1 Common Sandpiper, 3 Ringed Plover, 4 Raven, 1 Peregrine Falcon. (S Grose)
