Late News 07/09 Siblyback Lake: Black Tern still by dam, also seen on circuit of lake,1 Dunlin, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 16 Dabchick, 2 Pochard, c20 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 10 Herring Gull, c25 Black-headed Gull, c20 Coot, 1 Moorhen, c12 Mallard, c40 Pied Wagtails, 3 Willow Warbler and 4 Buzzard. Marazion: 52 Turnstone, 100 Ringed Plover, 40 Dunlin, 30 Sanderling, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Sandwich Tern and 1 Wheatear on the beach. Also Tawny Owl calling at Virgin Hill in the evening. (D Flumm & D Parker)
Porthgwarra: 41 Wheatear, 3 White Wagtail, 1 Crossbill alighted briefly in pines at car park before flying off east. (D Flumm)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: Copperhouse end this afternoon, many Redshank, Curlew, Little Egrets, amongst the Canada Geese and Swans also 2 Common Sandpipers. (R Farnes) 2 Pectoral Sandpipers reported again from Black Road.

Lands End – Nanjizal beach:   6 Wheatears, 1 Buzzard and 1 Kestrel. On beach at Nanjizal 1 Ringed Plover.  Directly off Lands end visitor centre, trip boat shadowing Basking Shark at 19:30. (W Renshaw)
