Late News 18/5 Kenidjack: Female/1s male Golden Oriole on south side of valley opposite the wood yard at 13:30.

Marazion: Olympic torch briefly this morning, before drifting east. Also c20 Sanderling, 11 Dunlin, 7+ Oystercatcher, 3 Turnstone and 1 Grey Plover on the beach and 4 Common Scoter offshore. (D Parker and P St Pierre)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 8 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 4 Canada Geese (plus 1 gosling), 4 Greylag, 1 hybrid geese, 8 Mallard, 1 drake Shoveler, 9 Moorhen (with 2 broods), 1 Reed Bunting, Swifts, Swallows, Reed Warblers, Sedge Warblers and 2 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)
