Late news, 25/7, Scillonian RSPB Cruise, Outward (Penzance to Wolf Rock): 2 Balearic Shearwater, c2000 Manx Shearwater (mainly between Runnelstone and Wolf Rock), 43 Gannet , 2 Fulmar , 43 Herring Gull, 3 Black-headed Gull also a group of 10 Common Dolphin includiing a calf. Return (Wolf Rock to Penzance): 1 Balearic Shearwater, 2000 plus Manx Shearwater (if anything greater numbers than on outward journey, in same area), 44 Gannet, 3 Fulmar, 77 Herring Gull, 9 Great Black-backed Gull and 1 Harbour Porpoise.
