Newlyn Harbour: 41 Great Black backed Gull, 7 Lesser Black Backed Gull, 1 American Herring Gull. (S Grose)

Helston Boating Lake: 1 m Gadwall, 7 m Muscovey, 5 Lesser Black backed Gull, 4 Herring Gull (all with blue plastic ring on left leg, W:505, W:546, W:522, W:520). (S Grose)

Stithians: 2 broods Canada Geese, 4 pairs Great Crested Grebe but all unsuccessful so far. Other birds nesting include Willow Warbler on 5 eggs, Goldfinch with 5 young, Robin on 6 eggs, Blackbird with 3 young, Dunnock on 4 eggs. (D Eva)
