Marazion Marsh RSPB: 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Little Egret, 14 Grey Heron, 8 Mute Swan, 4 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 2 hybrid geese, 2 Shelduck, 9 Mallard, 4 Teal, 14 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, 2 Cormorant, 1 Sparrowhawk, c60 Sand Martin, 2+ Swallow, 1 Wheatear, 5 Willow Warbler, 1 Chiffchaff and 3 Cetti’s Warbler. Falmouth/Swanpool: 3 Sandwich Tern at high tide on passage from Castle to beyond Pennance Point. (J St Ledger)
Windmill Farm:Marsh Harrier, 12 Willow Warblers, numerous Chiffchaffs, Bullfinch, 3 Sparrowhawk, 2 Kestrels and 4 Buzzards. Also seen earlier Peregrine, Swallow and Grey Heron. (CBWPS walk per D Wright)
Stithians Reservoir:16 Canada Goose, 1 Greylag Goose, 1 Goldeneye, 5 GC Grebe, 20 Tufted Duck, 5 Coot, 13 Mallard, 5 Wigeon, 3 Heron, 4 LBB Gull inc one ringed (suspected of being a German bird), 42 Herring Gull, 6 Cormorant, 7 Teal, 2 Little Grebe and 1 Moorhen. Also 7 Chiffchaff and 11 Willow Warbler singing. Meadow Pipit viewed collecting nest material, plus nests found for Wren and Chaffinch. (S Taylor)
Rosewall Hill, St Ives: 2 Ring Ouzels on the slopes between Rosewall Hill and what is known locally by some as Buttermilk Hill to the west. Park at approx SW486394 and walk south and east to search. (N Climpson & S Rogers)
