Late submission, 18/9, Millpool (private garden): 5 House Martins flying and feeding quite low at approx 18.30, heard Jay and Green Woodpecker a few moments apart at at same point in the evening plus Hummingbird Hawkmoth feeding on Verbena bonariensis flowers at the same time. Around 3pm Southern Hawker female flew through, Common Darter pair (female ovipositing in pond). (M Claughton)

Late submission, 18/9, Falmouth Bay, from the AK Wildlife Cruises trip: 1000+ Manx Shearwater, good numbers of Balearic Shearwater, 6 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Fulmar, 3 Guillemot, 1 Razorbill and several close-quarters sightings of cetaceans. (C Cameron)
