There is no public parking near the bird’s location and we advise that all visitors park at Coverack in the pay and display facilities. Please do not park in any fields, gateways or driveways whilst in the area and under no circumstances enter private gardens or other private areas. Could all visitors also ensure that they stay on the appropriate public footpaths and only public rights of way whilst in the locality.

Pendeen: (06.00-11.00) 1 Glossy Ibis flew west past at 07.43. 13 Whimbrel, 21 Sandwich Tern, 9 Great Skua, 7 Arctic Skua, 9 “Commic Tern”, 10 Balearic Shearwater, 12 Sooty Shearwater, 2 Turnstone  (S Rogers et al)

Nanjizal Valley: 1 Melodious Warbler, 2 Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaff, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Reed Warbler (+ UK control), 3 Whitethroat, 3 Sedge Warbler, 5 Blackcap and a Spotted Flycatcher trapped and ringed on a private ringing site.
