Possible disturbance at Walmsley Sanctuary on Wednesday 28 August.
EA contractors will be fitting a safety barrier to the main sluice below the tower hide from 09:00. This should not take too long but there may be disturbance until lunchtime.

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 juv Citrine Wagtail still, also visiting the beach, plus 3 Mute Swan, 3 Mallard, 1 Cormorant over, 1 Little Grebe, 12 Moorhen, 3 Little Egret, 13 Grey Heron, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Pergegrine, 1 Water Rail, 4 Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin, c15 Swallow, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Reed Bunting, 2 juv Stonechat, 2 Cetti’s Warbler and 2 Chiffchaff plus Reed and Sedge Warblers. Walmsley Sanctuary: 1 Long-billed Dowitcher at Amble Marshes at 07:05 with 3 Spotted Redshank then flew towards Chapel Amble. (D Julian)
St Ives Island: 1 Pomarine Skua past west.
Clapper Marshes: 1 Wood Sandpiper.
Penzance: 2 ad W Mediterranean Gull with 98 Black-headed Gull on Wherrytown Beach, also 8 Turnstone in Penzance Harbour. (T Mills)

Falmouth, Pendennis Point: 3 Med Gull, 2 Sandwich Tern, 1 Whimbrel, 2 Fulmar, 21 Oystercatcher, 1 Kestrel, 1 Grey Wagtail and a good passage of Gannet. (J St Ledger)
