Late News 03/04 Camborne: Osprey east through the valley at Coombe at 19:15.
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 5 Mute Swan (including 1 immature), 3 Greylag, 4 Canada Geese, 1 hybrid goose, 4+ Mallard, 11 Teal, 1 Little Egret, 9 Grey Heron, 5 Little Grebe, 25 Moorhen, 1 Merlin, 1 Oystercatcher, 3 Dunlin, 1 Ringed Plover, 4 Swallow, 10+ Sand Martin, 1 White Wagtail, c20 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler and 2+ Cetti’s Warbler. St Gothian Sands LNR: 2 Little Ringed Plovers and drake Pintail still. (I Webster) Also Siberian Chiffchaff still at the sewerage works.
Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Black Swan, 2 Greenshank, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit, 39 Ringed Plover, 17 Dunlin, c20 Turnstone, 5 Med Gull (1 ad, 3 2s & 1 1w), 2 Sandwich Tern and 1 Swallow. (D Parker & I Webster)
Treraven Meadows: 7 Little Ringed Plovers in the morning, 4 flew towards the estuary at 13:15. (D Julian)
Egloshayle: 2 Goosander on the river. (D Julian)
Chyandour, Penzance: 5 Common Scoter offshore, 2 Swallows north, 1 White Wagtail & 3 Chiffchaffs on rocks. (D Flumm) Also 1 Black Redstart reported.
Truro: 2 Brambling in a private garden. (D Jenkins)
Siblyback Lake: Ad drake Lesser Scaup and Red-necked Grebe still and an Osprey from 11:00 until 12:45 then flew over the dam, also 1 Merlin, 5 Wheatear, 10 Fieldfare, 1 male Black Redstart in the 1st field past cafe on the stone wall and field and a Tawny Owl calling from trees by the 1st car park. (P Stidwill) Osprey and Black Redstart still present in the evening plus 6+ Wheatear, adult summer plumaged Little Gull and a very bright male Stonechat showing some “characteristics of ssp maura including black axillaries, white rump and wide white neck collar.” (G Lewis)

Bude: 1 Red Kite over fields at Northcott Mouth at c12:30, it settled briefly before heading off towards Bude. (M Unwin)

St Austell: 2 Ring Ouzels still on the Blackpool Clay Trail.
Pendower: 9 Black-throated Divers, 3 Great Northern Divers and 1 Slavonian Grebe.
Holywell: Firecrest in streamside bushes on footpath from Parkdean caravan park to Ellenglaze.
