Late News 16/04 Jubilee Pool, Penzance: 5+ Ringed Plovers, 1 Dunlin, 1 Purple Sandpiper and 10+ Turnstones. (W Renshaw)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 10 Grey Heron, 1+ Little Egret, 8 Mute Swan, 4 Canada Geese, 3 Greylag, 1 hybrid goose, 1 Shelduck, 11 Mallard (plus broods of 15, 11, 9 & 8 ducklings), 2 Teal, 15 Moorhen, 2 Cormorant, 2 Sparrowhawk, 3 Buzzard (including the pale individual), 2 Whimbrel, 1 Snipe, c40 Sand Martin, c15 Swallow, 2 Willow Warbler, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Reed Warbler and 6+ Cetti’s Warbler. Jubilee Pool, Penzance: 1 Purple Sandpiper, 2 Ringed Plovers and 32 Turnstone, on rocks at high tide. (W Renshaw)
Stithians Reservoir:2 Great Crested Grebe. (W Renshaw) Also drake Ring-necked Duck still from the southern causeway.

Castle Beach, Falmouth: 2 Whimbrel and 15+ Gannet in Falmouth bay. (D Chaney)
Swanpool: c30 Swallow, 2 House Martin, 1 Sand Martin, 1 Great Crested Grebe and 1 Sandwich Tern off the beach. (D Chaney)
Rumps Point: c30 feeding Manx Shearwater offshore this morning plus a steady passage SW, approximately 100 per hour. One unfortunate exhausted Gannet with fishing net trailing from neck, only able to fly short distances before crash landing, unable to feed just sitting on the sea getting weaker! (C Selway)

Wadebridge: Spotted Redshank and several Redshank plus an Otter between Guineaport and Commissioners Quay. (W Delacour)
