Pendennis Point, Falmouth: (05:50 – 08:20, but with substantial ‘rain’ breaks) 90+ Gannet, 220+ Manx Shearwater, 5 Kittiwake, 1 Sandwich Tern, 1 Arctic Skua all flying east, 3 Guillemot flying west plus 2 Fulmar, 1 Whimbrel and 3 Linnet. (D Chaney)

Drift Reservoir: (CBWPS members only):1 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 97 Canada Geese, 17 Greylag, 4 hybrid geese, 41 Mallard, 5 Call Duck, 1 Moorhen, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Buzzard, c100 Swift, c30 House Martin, c15 Sand Martin, 5 Swallow, 2 Reed Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 2 Blackcap, 1 Chiffchaff, 5 Willow Warbler and a recently fledged family of 3 Long-tailed Tit. Gunwalloe Fishing Cove: Great Reed Warbler still singing in the reed bed this morning but elusive, visible from the stone footbridge at SW 66092067. Please note this is a sensitive ringing site and area, park only in the NT car park at SW 659208 and view from here or the beach road. DO NOT enter the golf course or the surrounding farmland.
