Helston: Glossy Ibis slightly away from the Penrose Amenity Area  today. Perched just beyond the steps to a walled garden 200m from the road entrance, then flew towards Loe Pool at 16.15. Also 6 Teal on one of the small ponds. (G Adams, W Chegwidden)

Penzance, Jubilee Pool: 4 Purple Sandpipers, 18 Ringed Plover, 16 Dunlin, male Black Redstart all seen on beach below harbour wall by Jubilee Pool. 3 Great Northern Divers in bay and Great Skua seen harassing gulls following trawler. (L Carr)
