Late News 13/02 Hayle Estuary RSPB: The colour-ringed Lesser Black-backed Gull reported yesterday was ringed on 09/05/09 at Gloucester landfill site, nr Hempsted, Gloucestershire. It has remained faithful to Gloucestershire except for a visit to Hayle on 11/01/2010 when it was reported by L Williams and yesterday. (D Parker per P Stewart, The Severn Estuary Gull Group)

Late News 13/02 Marazion: 1W drake Surf Scoter, Long-tailed Duck and 2 Great Northern Divers offshore.
Late News 13/02 Newlyn: 2W Iceland again in the harbour. (S Kolodziejski) Ad Glaucous also reported.
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 11 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 2 Shelduck, 33 Teal, 12 Mallard, 2 Wigeon, 1 Coot, 15 Moorhen, 1 Little Grebe, 2 Water Rail, 2 Oystercatcher, 7 Snipe, 1 Stonechat and 3 Chiffchaff. Also 3 f Eider offshore. (D Parker)
Marazion: 1 Water Pipit still at Red River Mouth. (D Parker)
St Clement and Tresemple Pool: 1 Greenshank, Redshanks, Curlews, 3 Avocet opposite the pool, 2 Spotted Redshank, 2 Snipe, many Teal and Canada Geese plus 2 Black-tailed Godwit on the pool and a pair of Bullfinch on the way back. (S Cox)
Carnon Downs Sewage Works: 1 male Blackcap, many Chiffchaff, 2 Siberian Chiffchaff type, 3 Goldcrest and 1+ Yellow-browed Warbler. (S Cox) Also 2 Firecrests.
Hayle Estuary RSPB: Ad Iceland Gull, 7 Common Gull (6ad & 1w), 1 Kittiwake, 7 Sanderling, 1 Black-tailed Godwit and 7+ Bar-tailed Godwit from Lelant Saltings (A Hartley & J St Ledger) Ad Yellow-legged Gull this afternoon. (C Barnard)

Porthoustock: 3 Black Redstarts including 1 male at the southern end of the beach. (S Bury)

Coverack: Black Redstart near the car pack and a male Hen Harrier at Crousa Downs. (S Bury)
Rumps Point: 1 Red-throated Diver, 1 Great-northern Diver, 2 Common Scoter and 19 Common Gull. Also 1 Harbour Porpoise and 5 Grey Seal. (C Selway)

Helston Sewage Works: 12+ Chiffchaff including Siberian Chiffchaff type, 1 Meadow Pipit and 1 Grey Wagtail. (A Hartley)
Helston Boating Lake: 20 Tufted Duck, 4 Shoveler and 1 drake Pochard. (A Hartley)
Penryn: Sandwich Tern and 2 Brent Geese viewable from next car park beyond Lidl’s. (D Chaney)

Helston, Loe Pool: Bufflehead and redhead Smew still and 2+ Firecrest.
Par: Drake Ring-necked Duck still on Par Beach Pool.
Siblyback Lake: Probable 1W drake Lesser Scaup still present.
Longrock: 1W drake Surf Scoter still offshore.
Hayle Estuary RSPB: Ad Iceland Gull still.
Torpoint: Sandwich Tern this morning and 12 Pale-bellied Brent Geese on St John’s Lake.
Newlyn: Ad Glaucous Gull still in the harbour.
