Hayle estuary: Colour-ringed Curlew on the estuary yesterday (19th) and also on Ryan’s Field on 8th (Paul St Pierre). The bird has a red ring on the right leg and a coded yellow ring on the left leg, but no one has been able to read the code yet. This is possibly one of the head-started chicks from the southwest so please keep a eye out for it and it’d be great if someone could read the code.
