Pendeen: 1 juvenile Rosy Starling on wires to east of Lower Boscaswell.  Also, visible migration watch produced 1 Hawfinch, 3717 Chaffinch, 6 Brambling, 1 Redpoll, 3 Bullfinch, siskin heard, 5 Redwing, 4 Song Thrush, 24 Skylar, 2 Reed Bunting. (P Combridge).  Also, 6 Cory’s Shearwater, 2 Sooty Shearwater, 22 Manx Shearwater, 2 Balearic Shearwater, 5 Great Northern Diver. (S Rogers)

Porthgwarra: 1 Long-tailed Skua close in, 1 Arctic Skua, 1 Cory’s Shearwater, 1 Great Shearwater, 9 Balearic Shearwater, 50 Manx Shearwater.  Also, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Black Redstart and 3 Firecrest. (R & I Archer et al)

Kenidjack (7:45 to 11:30): 2 Yellow-browed Warbler. One at top of valley behind the garage/boat/caravan combo. The other opposite Polglaze wood merchants just beyond bridge. 17 Skylark over, a minimum of 150 Chaffinch, 2 Redwing, 6 Siskin, at least 2 Firecrest. (A Lobb)

Mevagissey: 1 fem Black Redstart in private garden. (S Knapp)

Drift Reservoir: 1 fem Scaup eastern end. (A Lobb).  1 Ring-necked Duck reported early am.

Newquay, Gannel Estuary: 3 Pink-footed Goose over and appeared to land in fields to the south at 10.50, 8 Little Egret, 10 Redshank, 1 Oystercatcher, 5 Med Gull, 1 Common Gull. (S Rowe)

RSPB Hayle Estuary: 2 Pintail, 2 Shelduck, 6 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit, 8 Oystercatcher, 3 juv Ringed Plover, 5 Dunlin, 28 Curlew, 1 Spoonbill, 3 Pink footed Geese (flew in with main Canada Geese flock from fields behind Trevethoe House Lelant at 8.15am and were present constantly until at least 1.00pm).
