Penzance, Eastern Green: 1 ad Bonaparte’s Gull (adult, now considered a new individual based on bill shape and head pattern, including a black mark on chin). (N R Rogers).  Also at Tolcarne, 5 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, 1 Dark-bellied Brent Goose. (N R Rogers)

Trethewey: 1 Glossy Ibis behind old ruined chapel. (S Rogers)

Trewey Common Pond: 2 Glossy Ibis flew off south. (G Lawlor)

East Pentire, Newquay 8-10am: 10 Manx Shearwater, 4 Balearic Shearwater, 1 Great Northern Diver, 36 Curlew, 1 Purple Sandpiper with 10 Turnstone. And 100’s of feeding seabirds inc. Gannet, Kittiwakes, Common Gull, Black Headed Gull, Auk sp.  Also, 1 Humpback Whale 9.45am seen to surface 5 times whilst heading across Fistral Bay and then round Pentire Head. (D Grose)
