Late news, 4/5, Carharrack – Gwennap Sewage Works: 2 Wheatear (m&f )on the old dump, 2 Bullfinch,1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Song Thrush,1 Nuthatch, 1 Goldcrest, 2 Canada Goose, 1 Buzzard, Goldfinch, BlueTit ,Great Tit, 3 Garden Warbler, 1 Roe Deer (W Chegwidden)

Late news, 4/5, Gluvian: flock of Common Tern sound recorded over garden at 4am (calls lasted for 30 seconds so would expect double figures of birds), 2 fledged juvenile Song Thrush, 1 Swift, 10 House Martin. (B Bosisto)

Porthgwarra: 14 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Whinchat,1 Yellow Wagtail, 5 Wheatear & 1 Grey Plover. (M Wallace)

Penzance: 4 Swift over Penzance Harbour this am. (J Evans)

Penzance: 45 Purple Sandpiper at Jubilee Pool. (M Elliott)

Marazion: 1 Swan killed two gosling despite attempts to intervene by adult Geese. c.60 Dunlin and a Sanderling on beach before heading towards Hayle. (J Hicks)

Marazion: 100+ Dunlin, 25 Sanderling, 10 Ringed Plover, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 7 Grey Plover, 20 Turnstone, 2 Wheatear on the beach this evening. Female Marsh Harrier on the marsh. (S Rogers)

Lizard Point and Housel Bay area: 1 female Pied Flycatcher, 4 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Willow Warbler, 4 Swift, 10 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin, 10 Swallow (D Collins)

Coverack: 1 Swift, 1 Spotted Flycatcher at Trevothen (D Beadle)

Trevose Head: 3 Whimbrel,1 Osprey ,4 juv Raven in nest ,1 Sedge Warbler, plus Whitethroat, Wheatear, Stonechat, Linnet, Swallow and Sand Martin. (S Marquis)

Gannel Estuary: 32 Dunlin, 4 Ringed Plover, 3 Whimbrel , 1 Sanderling, 2 Swift. (S Rowe, M Lammas)

St Columb Road:  1 Swift, pair Greenfinch, pair Blue Tit, pair Great Tit, 7 Starling, 3 Blackbird (2m 1f), 8 Goldfinch. (A & B Tregunna).

Gluvian: 7 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin, 3 Swallow, 1 Swift, 3 Stock Dove (B Bosisto)

Bodmin: 3 Swift flying past rather erratically as they do, but in a closer formation as though not actually feeding, in direction west to east past our address. (P Haseldine)

Bude: 5 Swift this afternoon heading NE with 20+ Swallow. (N Bastin)

Polbathic Creek: 1 Red Kite, 2 Whimbrel. (A Blonden)

Freathy: 1 Common Sandpiper on beach today. Also 6 House Martin and 12 Swallow flew east. (M. Jordan)
