Skewjack: presumed male Spanish Wagtail (ssp. iberiae of Yellow Wagtail) in barley fields and 1 Bee-eater over this afternoon, also male Blue-headed Wagtail (ssp. flava) this evening. (M Wallace)

Devroan: large numbers of Canada geese, at least 6 pairs with very small goslings making early forays into the water.  One pair had six little ones tumbling down the bank. Also Swallows and House Martins along with 20+ Swift. (R Smith)
