Looe: 1 Firecrest – Found by R Capel with its wings spread out, in the middle of the road. It had narrowly avoided being flattened by a vehicle which drove directly over it. He took it in his hands and warmed it up and took it to the local bakery who kindly gave him some crumbs and a box. By then it was happy to be on its way!
