Late news 27/08/13 Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 ad Spoonbill still on Lelant Water.
Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Osprey again at Carnsew Basin and Lelant Saltings where it caught a fish at 09:38, then flew SE, plus 5 Oystercatcher, 2 Curlew Sandpiper, 13 Dunlin, 7 Ringed plover and 2 Common Sandpiper at Carnsew Basin and 1 Black-tailed Godwit on Ryan’s Field. (M & T Hasdell, D Parker)
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 3 Mute Swan, 2 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 1 Little Grebe, 7 Moorhen, 2 Little Egret, 8 Grey Heron, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 3 Greenshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, c15 Swallow, 2 juv Stonechat, 1 Cetti’s Warbler and 1 Whitethroat plus Reed and Sedge Warblers.
