Meeting Time and Place: 10:30am at Towan Head car park, Headland
Road, Newquay, TR7 1HN

Directions to Towan Head, Newquay Car Park:
Coming from Truro: Take Duke St and New Bridge St to St Clement St /
B3284. Follow B3284 to Ashley Road in Shortlanesend. Turn right onto
Ashley Road. Continue on B3288. Take Scotland Road, A3075 and A392
to Beacon Road in Newquay. Drive to Towan beach car park.

Some of the Birds we’ve seen at Towan Head, Newquay include:
Guillemot, Razorbill, Sandwich Tern, Gannets, Kittiwake, Fulmar, Herring
Gull, Great Black-backed Gull, Black-headed Gull, Purple Sandpiper,
Great Northern Diver, Cormorant, Shag, Turnstone, Oystercatcher, Pied
Wagtail, Black Redstart, Stonechat, Meadow Pipit, Rock Pipit, Swallow,
Swift, House Martin, and a lot more…

Event is Free. Everyone is welcome to attend. Booking is essential. To
book, please contact Rowena via email: publicity@cbwps.org.uk.
Please check our website and social media prior to the event in case of
cancellation due to weather conditions. Please wear suitable clothing
and shoes. Bring binoculars, water, and snacks; pen and paper to list the
wildlife you see. No dogs please.
