Join Chris Judge on a circular walk starting from Bude Tourist Information Centre  along the canal and marshes. Followed by a walk/drive to our new Maer Lake hide or a more rugged walk along the cliff tops to Northcott Mouth and back via the hide.

Meet at Bude Tourist Information carpark.  what3words location: ///.dumplings.final.volcano.  Alternative car park is Crooklets Carpark. what3words:///.drizzly.ignore.artist.  There are cafes and pubs nearby as well as toilet facilities.

This is a flat level walk along the canal and marshes. Access via a stile and steps into the hide, with moderate to steep in parts along the coast path to Northcott Mouth. Binoculars or camera essential and a telescope would be useful.  Dress according to weather and sturdy footwear is advisable.
