Kernow RSPB visit to Marazion Marsh
Saturday 16th December 1pm – 4.30pm Marazion Marsh, Penzance.
Our first group visit to one of our two wonderful RSPB reserves in Kernow, and also home to the largest reedbed in Cornwall. We’ll start with an amble along the St Michaels Mount shoreline, before heading into the reserve and looking amongst the wetlands. With an early sunset, there may also be the opportunity to watch murmurating Starlings and then get some hot drinks at the café before we head off. The reserve itself is wheelchair accessible. The walk starts from Folleyfield Long Stay Car Park, TR17 0EP What 3 words ///unopposed.toward.speedily. Note that wheelchair access within the reserve is impossible and those with mobility issues need to take extreme care on uneven paths which may be waterlogged. No dogs on the day. Star species: Starling, Brent Goose, Bittern (if we’re very lucky).
