Rewilding: Our last hope or a current craze?

The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world, while in Cornwall, evidence suggests that nearly half of terrestrial mammals and three fifths of butterflies are found in fewer places than just 50 years ago. In short, we face an ecological crisis. But is rewilding the answer?

Join Cornwall Wildlife Trust and leading experts in this area for a panel discussion chaired by biologist, BBC Springwatch presenter and Wildlife Trust Vice President Gillian Burke, where we explore questions around rewilding and others posed by the audience. The panel discussion will be followed by a reception with pasties, wine and soft drinks for guests.
