Join the RSPB Kernow local group for this opportunity to explore both Lower Tamar Lake and Upper Tamar Lake, near Bude. There are bird hides at both lakes and it is the county stronghold for Willow Tit which often frequent the bird feeders. The lakes are nestled amid farmland in north Cornwall, straddling the border with Devon. Goosander, Water Rail and Jack Snipe are regular winter visitors and Scarlet Elf  Cup fungus should be showing.

Footpaths at both lakes are fairly level, but can be muddy. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for a winter’s day bird watching. No dogs please.
