What’s that Bird? – Identification masterclasses with Paul Freestone

We have teamed up with well known Cornwall Birding guide Paul Freestone, to deliver three practical workshops visiting various habitats around Cornwall.  Especially suitable for beginners, we aim to help you identify a range of species by sight and sound. The workshops are limited to a maximum of eight people that will enable you to gain the maximum benefit from Paul’s experience.

Workshop 1: Birds of the Hayle Estuary; Sunday 3rd March 2024, 8.30am

Workshop 2: Bodmin Moor; Saturday 13th April 2024, 8.30am-1pm

Workshop 3: Golitha Falls (woodland birds); Saturday 27th April 2024, 8.30am

Cost: Cornwall Birds members £30.00 (quote membership number), Non members £35.00

Wear suitable warm clothing and footwear, bring notebook, binoculars and telescope is useful on the estuary. (Hire is possible at an additional cost).Parking and meeting point to be advised according to venue, check Cornwall Birding website.
