Garden Listing 10th February 2021

Crowlas: Another good couple of days saw flyover additions of Grey Heron, Snipe and the Merlin which I see sporadically around nearby farmland. A nocmig Moorhen would’ve been new but sadly isn’t countable, so total now 54. (Reuben Veal)

Constantine: Very slow birdwatching here over recent weeks, but the addition of Starling and Mallard take me to 41. (David Collins)

Coverack: No new species (still haven’t quite nailed Lesser Black-backed Gull) but the garden were very busy, with a garden record 14 Blue Tit. (Dan Beadle)

Callestick: Very busy around the feeders today with the cold weather but the best was a couple of Greenfinches which are very rare here and took me to 50. (Tony Wilson)

Garden Listing 9th February 2021

Praa Sands: After last week with only one new species, two today. I believe 46, the female Black Redstart that’s been flitting about down by the beach car parks and houses paid me a visit and 47, one of the three Turnstones on Hoy Point made a flight across the bay. (Matt Southam)

Garden Listing 8th February 2021

Callestick: Green Woodpecker doing its first yaffle of the spring took me to 49. (Tony Wilson)

Praa Sands: Quiet week, only one species to add 45, Common Gulls in the bay. (Matt Southam)
