Seabirds Count’ survey trip – 12th June: Weather-permitting, next Tuesday (12th June) we’ll be running a survey trip as part of the Seabirds Count survey. We currently have six spaces on the boat which we are happy to fill with paying passengers (£40 per person) to help subsidise the cost of the trip and to contribute to further surveys off the north coast later in the season. We plan to leave Falmouth early morning and will head straight out to Plymouth, then surveying the stretch of coast from Mount Edgcumbe back round to Chapel Point, Mevagissey. Time-permitting, we may then also resurvey Gull Rock, giving an opportunity to see a wider variety of breeding seabirds. This will be a full day at sea, so be prepared with plenty of suitable clothing and food/drink. If you’re interested in joining the trip then please email [email protected] to reserve a space (first come first served).
