CBWPS is delighted to announce that three Marsh Harriers have successfully fledged within our Walmsley Sanctuary & Middle Amble reserves! Our warden, Adrian Langdon, made the exciting discovery last week and the birds are looking fit and well. This is the second year in succession that the pair have bred successfully.
If visiting the reserves please view from the hides at Walmsley and Middle Amble, so that we can minimise any disturbance to the birds. Bullocks are also free ranging on both sites! We would like to thank Adrian for his hard work and careful observations of the pair this spring and a big thank you must go to Peter Kent and the team from Cornwall Wildlife Trust, for fencing off the breeding site earlier in the season.
