Spit Beach, Par: 18 Eider inc 12 males diving for crabs and mussels 200m off the concrete breakwater also 1 lone male near harbour. Also at least 4 Great Northern Diver and 6 distant Auks. (M Lammas)

Tresillian to Tresemple pool (river), 15.30-16.00: 20 Shelduck, 1 Common Sandpiper, 10 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, 6 Curlew, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 30+ Herring Gull, 1 Grey Heron, 20 Black-headed Gull, 1 Cormorant, 1 Blackcap. (N Best)
