Porthoustock: Red-rumped Swallow

Lizard: 2 Red-rumped Swallow reported this morning.

Kenidjack: 1 Woodchat Shrike, 2 Ring Ouzel and 3 Wheatear, all around Kenidjack Castle this afternoon. (P Maker, R Augarde)

The Roseland: Long-eared Owl flying along minor road at 9pm. (A Roberts, L Roberts)

Skewjack: Hoopoe in private garden briefly. (Birdguides) Also 2 Garganey, ‘Greenland-type’ Wheatear. (M Wallace)

Nanquidno: Male Hoopoe still singing near Hendra then flew up valley. (Birdguides)

Mawgan Porth: 1 Little Ringed Plover this morning. (P Roseveare)

Windmill Farm: 1 Red Kite, 1 Whinchat and 1 Grasshopper Warbler. (D Wright)

Rushy Green, Crantock: 1 Merlin, 6 Wheatear, 1 Jay, 2 Whitethroat. (S Rowe)

East Pentire, Newquay: 4 Wheatear, 10 House Martin. (S Rowe)

Eagles’ Nest, St Ives: 6 Golden Plover, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Cuckoo, 1 Swallow, 2 Red Kite heading NE, a few Stonechats, Wrens, Meadow Pipits and Linnets. (S.Cox)

St Ives Island: 1 Great Skua, 97 Swallow, 2 House Martin, 1 Wheatear, 6 Linnet, 1f Kestrel, 1 Bottlenose Dolphin (P. Nason)

Kingsmill Lake: 2 Whimbrel, 1 Dunlin, 14 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Oystercatcher, 1 Mallard & 19 Shelduck  (P Kemp)

Downderry: 7 Whimbrel and a Wheatear along the coast early morning. Meanwhile, 2 Red Kites flew east. (A Payne)

Boscathnoe Reservoir: 1 Red Kite over SE at 9.55am, 3 more Red Kite SE over Boscathnoe Reservoir at 10.55am and another north-east at 11.55am. Green Sandpiper 10.45-10.50am then flew off north calling. (T Twiggs)

Porthgwarra: 7 Red Kite, 3 Wheatear, Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap, small group of Swallows. (I Hayes) Also Lesser Whitethroat on the top path, just along from the old schoolhouse. (M Wallace)

Praa Sands: First time for me to observe a Carrion Crow attack and predate a Wood Pigeon in flight. Carrion Crow devoured bloodied feathers from encounter. Wood Pigeon whereabouts unknown since encounter. (J Evans)

Hayle Black Bridge, 10.50 – 11.10: 2 (m & f) Shelduck, 3 (2m 1f) Mallard, 2 Canada Goose, 12 Starling, 2 Robin, 2 Dunnock, 1m Blackbird. (M Webb)
