Newquay, Barrowfields: 4 Kestrel, 2 Raven over (S Grose)

Stithians Reservoir: 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Little Ringed Plover (juvenile), 8 Ringed Plover, 11 Dunlin, 6 Common Sandpiper, 3 Lapwing, 11 Curlew, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Sparrowhawk (swooping down on waders), 2 Swallows, 1 Willow Warbler, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 6 Cormorant, 2 Chaffinch, 8 Blue Tit, Wood Pigeon, 12 Magpie, Robin, Kingfisher, Long Tailed Tit, 2 Great Tit, 6 House Sparrow, Dunnock (J St Ledger, A Lea, T McLeod, S Hinkley)

Goss Moor: 1 Willow warbler, 3 Chiffchaffs, 4 Bullfinches, family of Blackcaps with adults feeding at least 2 juveniles (J Hawkey & K Dalziel)

Drift Reservoir: 2 Wood Sandpiper, 3 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 2 Dunlin, 5 Little Grebe, 3 (2ad 1juv) Great Crested Grebe, 1 Shoveler, 20+ Mallard, 40+ Canada Goose, 11 Moorhen, 5 Little Egret, 4 (1ad 3juv) Grey Heron, 11 Cormorant 09.30 – 11.15. (M Webb)

Chyandour, Penzance: 1 Eider, resting on rocks at high tide  (P K Bray)

Escalls: 19 active House Martin nests on Escalls Chapel, many with young on verge of fledging  (P Taylor, H Mitchell)

Truro: Roof nesting gulls now all fledged. Population estimate 150 pairs Herring Gull, 20 pairs Lesser Black backed Gull and 1 pair Great Black backed Gull. Of these a sample was nest recorded: of 44 Herring Gull nests, 33 were successful fledging 54 young, of 9 Lesser black back nests, 4 were successful fledging 7 young and the pair of Great Black backs fledged 2 young (D Eva)
