Walmsley Sanctuary: 1 Marsh Harrier, 2 Green Sandpiper, 1 Teal, 2 Mute swan with 3 cygnets. Also numbers of Hirundines and Swifts. (J St Ledger & A Lea)
Downderry: 7 Common Scoter and 12 Mediterranean Gull west 0620-0730, whilst 150+ Manx Shearwater east. (A Payne)
Kilkhampton: 20+ swifts including juveniles, spotted flycatcher in garden. (L Hurles)
Porthilly Beach: 19 Mediterranean Gull amongst gull flock feeding on flying ants. (S Grose)
Late Submission 07/07 Rosewall Hill: 87 Linnets mainly young birds forming juvenile creches with one flock of 46 Linnets and another flock of 38 Linnets, 8 pairs are double brooding, 17 pairs of Meadow Pipits with 32 young birds 9 pairs double brooding with several pairs still feeding young. 6 pairs of Stonechats with 12 well grown young 4 pairs are double brooding, 9 pairs of Whitethroats with 8 juveniles and 4 pairs still feeding young. 9 pairs of Blackbirds still feeding the second brood. 12 pairs of Dunnocks several double brooding and 11 pairs of Wrens. with 3 pairs of Cuckoo, breeding and laying eggs on the hill I am looking forward to seeing some young Cuckoos shortly. The hill is teeming with birds at the moment with a very successful breeding season. (V Stratton
