NB:due to the low water level ,dog walkers are now passing by Infront of the hide and  on the far side through Crowdy Marsh and disturbing all birds and grazing animals.(S Grose)

East Pentire: 1 Storm Petrel, 12 Balearic Shearwater, 8 Arctic Skua, 1 Black Tern, 5 Sandwich Tern, 1 drake Common Scoter. (B Bosisto , S Rowe, M Lammas)

Late Submission, 08/09, Brunnion gardens, Lelant Downs: a very large moth – thought it was a bat to start with – feeding in twilight on honeysuckle flowers. Research on size, timing and feeding we believe it to have been a Convolvulus Hawk-moth. Earlier in the day a Hummingbird Hawk-moth on Fuschia flowers.
